A seamless fade depends on controlled removal of weight rather than repeatedly chasing every visible line. Step away from the client and identify whether you are seeing a true guideline, excess bulk or contrast created by density.
Your tool choice should respond to the problem. Corner work, controlled lever movement and clipper-over-comb can refine small areas while protecting the overall shape.
